While many of us have been enjoying the sun today, we are tracking a line of showers and storms across much of west Alabama heading toward the central counties. By late this afternoon or early this evening, many of us could see some stronger storms as this line moves into the area. There were some warnings with the line earlier. Right now the storms are “behaving”. Some of us will see some very heavy downpours and gusty winds from the stronger storms in this line. Several counties in north Alabama are still under a tornado watch ahead of this line. I’ll continue to monitor.
