Tropical Storm Franklin, which formed last night in the west Caribbean, is gaining strength as it heads for the Yucatan tonight. Tropical Storm Warnings in effect. After the Yucatan, into the SW Gulf of Mexico.
The other system is Invest 99-L which is struggling and has a difficult future. NHC gives this system a 20% chance of development next few days.
The Euro model suggests there will be no end to this tropical weather pattern which will produce and abundance of showers & storms for most of the next 10 days. Little day to day temperature change expected.
