Good Morning! Looks like the holiday forecast is good for Alabama, but it sure will be a close call, as a Gulf storm system narrowly passes us by, but it’s destined to drench much of Florida. I’ll update you on holiday travel and the Thanksgiving and Iron Bowl weekend forecast…plus a little peak ahead at the next storm system next week. Here’s your holiday personal weather briefing on Thanksgiving Eve.
Travel today could be an issue in some major airport hubs both in the Northeast and in the Pacific Northwest, too. Much of the nation will see good travel weather today. Rain moving into Florida, though.
CLOSE CALL FOR ALABAMA: A Gulf Coast Storm system will drench Florida over the next 2-3 days, and it will miss us just enough to insure nice holiday weekend.
The next few days. Cold front arrives Sunday. Coldest morning will be Monday morning, and a chilly day Monday with highs in the 50’s Great weather for the Iron Bowl, though.
