Good morning! Freeze Warning. It’s a cold Winter’s morning. Many are seeing the first freeze in over a month. Even colder air arrives tonight, and we are headed for the 20’s by early Wednesday morning. It looks two more nights of freezing temperatures before recovery begins. We’ll look ahead to a late week warm-up and another weekend storm system which could bring some strong storms to the state. Will they be severe? Late information from SPC indicates yet another severe weather risk. I’ll cover it all on your Tuesday morning personal weather briefing.
Cold and breezy today. Even colder tonight. Freeze warning. We’re headed for the 20’s tonight.
Protect your tender vegetation. We are headed for the 20’s by dawn on Wednesday morning.
Freezing temperatures for two more nights. Then recovery. Risk of showers Friday. Another round of strong to severe storms possible again by Saturday evening/Saturday night/Sunday morning.
Another strong, possibly severe weather set-up is developing for Saturday evening and Saturday night. It needs to be closely watched. Severe thunderstorms and tornadoes are not out of the question…AGAIN.
It’s a big deal when the Storm Prediction Center issues a severe weather threat 5 days out. It certainly has my attention.
