Good Morning! Spring officially begins in nine days…the Vernal Equinox. But, our forecast for the next several days will be very spring-like, with warmer days and the risk of some showers and perhaps a few thunderstorms. As you will see on this video, the mention of rain will be in the forecast every day, but the bulk of the rain will be across the northern part of our state. In fact, south Alabama may not see much rain at all this week. I have the latest on projected rainfall amounts. We’ll look ahead to the weekend. And, ‘tis the season for Pollen. I’ll show you the pollen forecast for the rest of the week.
Showers and storms will increase across the state today ahead of a frontal system which will enter the state and then stall across the northern counties. Very Spring-like…
It’s still officially Winter for the next few days, but it will sure seem SPRING. Warmer days. The risk of showers will be in the forecast each day, but the probability of running into a shower will be small. Warm days.
SOUTH Alabama may not see much rain in the week ahead. By far the wettest areas will be across north Alabama.
‘Tis the season for pollen. The pollen count will be in the medium high range through the end of the week.
