Welcome to February! COLD air continues to funnel into Alabama, around that big Nor’easter snowstorm. Wind chill will be a big factor today, tonight, and even to some extent tomorrow. We’re headed for at least two nights of freezing temperatures. We’ll look ahead to warming later in the week, and a late week storm system, too. Plus, we may be less than a week away from the next cold blast.
Windy and COLD all day. Wind chill in the 20’s in the morning and only 30’s this afternoon with the brisk northwest wind at 15 to 25 mph.
Tomorrow morning, wind chill factors in the teens and 20’s.
Still Cold Tuesday. Coldest morning, upper 20’s Wednesday morning. Warmer by Thursday…upper 60’s. Next storm system brings the risk of showers back Thursday night through Saturday.
Best chance of showers Friday into Saturday. No severe weather is expected.
Can you believe it? Looks like another BIG temperature plunge by late Sunday and through Monday February 8th.
Lots of ups and downs in the next 10 days.
