Fred Exits into Georgia – Tracking Grace’s Gulf of Mexico Future – TUESDAY Video

EARLY MORNING UPDATE:

Good Morning!  The center of Fred has exited into Georgia early this morning. Although the rain shield continues across east Alabama this morning, the heavy rain will depart. Our weather will be returning to a more routine scenario this afternoon and through the rest of the week.  The heat will build.  Meanwhile, there are two other tropical storms to track.  Henri is not a problem, but Grace is headed for the Gulf and could become a hurricane. I have the latest information from the National Hurricane Center.

As the Fred rain shield leaves the state this morning, we will return to a more routine situation, scattered random storms this afternoon and this evening.

Fred has left Alabama, and exited into Georgia. Fred will be a prolific rain maker from Georgia, through the Appalachians and into the northeast.

Grace is a Tropical Storm again and is headed for the Gulf of Mexico. It looks like it will become a Hurricane in the Gulf. Fortunately, for us, it looks like the track of Grace will stay well south of us, on a course for the western Gulf.

There’s one other player in the tropics. We are not concerned with Tropical Storm Henri, which will be a problem for Bermuda.

Our forecast is starting to return to a more routine forecast, with scattered random storms. Storms will thin out toward the weekend, as the heat builds. Mid 90’s by the weekend with triple digit heat index.
