Good Morning! The Cold Front responsible for the rain this morning, will usher is yet another shot of much colder air. Today will be a day of falling temperatures. Rain will end by mid-day. We’re headed for the freeze mark tonight. But, will we have to deal with a little freezing rain early Friday morning? Right now the probability of any precipitation is slight..20%. Expect some very chilly days and nights in the 20’s through the weekend. On this video, we’ll look ahead. There’s more rain in the forecast. And, we may be stuck with well below normal temperatures for the rest of January.
Today will be a day of falling temperatures. It was 57 at Midnight. Expect mid 40’s by lunchtime. Risk of rain mainly through about 1PM. Much colder. Low tonight near freezing. Slight chance of some very light freezing rain in the overnight, Friday AM pre-dawn hours.

Most models now keep any potential Friday morning precip far to the south. The chance of “over run” precipitation reaching as far north as the I-85 corridor now appears to be SLIGHT…20% or less. It would freezing rain if it occurs.
