Good morning! We will be enjoying a very brief break between storm systems. Today will be very nice with lots of sun. Dry and warm Thursday. We’re headed for the upper 80‘s tomorrow. Expect the next storm system soon. Risk of more scattered showers & storms by the wee hours of Friday morning. Showers and thunderstorms are likely Friday. Locally heavy rainfall. Some storms could be strong/severe. A few leftover showers and possibly some thunderstorms will continue Saturday. N Highs in the low to mid 80’s. Right now I think we are dry and warm Sunday and Monday. Here’s my brief forecast discussion.
TODAY: This is the Best weather day of the week. Enjoy, because there’s more changes ahead. Lots of sunshine. Warm. High 85. West wind 5 to 10 mph. Mosly clear tonight, Low 68.
NEXT FEW DAYS: Dry & warm daytime Thursday and Thursday evening. High 88. Risk of more scattered showers & storms by the wee hours of Thu Friday morning. Showers and thunderstorms Friday. Locally heavy rainfall. Some storms could be strong, possibly severe. A few leftover showers and possibly some thunderstorms will stick around Saturday. Highs in the low to mid 80’s. Dry weather returns Sunday and Monday. Near 90 Monday.
Here’s the set-up on Friday as the next storm system approaches. Marginal Severe Risk for much of the state. Level 2 risk in the far western counties.
Lots of rainfall is expected with that Friday storm system. Especially between near the I-85 corridor.
BEACH FORECAST: Be flexible with your Beach Plans this weekend. Scattered showers and storms will be around at times. Most concentrated storms Friday. Potentially Severe. Gulf water 78.
The Hurricane Season in the Atlantic begins in 16 days.
The Eastern Pacific season starts today. And, Ironically there is an Area to Watch off the Mexican coast.
