Good morning! Alabama is heating up. Summer heat is locked in for the rest of the week and through Memorial Day Weekend. Humidity is not great but not out of control. Dewpoints are in the 60’s, which is bad enough, but we’ll fall short of the 70’s this week until about Saturday and Sunday. Actual highs will be around 90 each day. I have us dry through Thursday. Starting Friday and over the Memorial Day holiday weekend, there will be a few widely scattered, random, “hit or miss” storms each day, Highs over the weekend will be in the lower 90’s. Here’s my brief forecast discussion.
TODAY: Sunshine will dominate. Very warm. High upper 80’s to near 90 again. SE wind 5 to 10 mph. Partly cloudy tonight. Low in the mid 60’s.
NEXT FEW DAYS: Summer heat is locked in for the rest of the week and through Memorial Day Weekend. Humidity is not great but not out of control. Actual highs will be around 90 each day. Starting Friday and over the Memorial Day holiday weekend, there will be a few widely scattered, random, “hit or miss” storms each day, Highs over the weekend will be in the lower 90’s.
As opposed to last week, not much rain is in the cards. Potty random storms over the weekend. Best chance Monday, The best rain chance will hug the Tennessee border. It’s a pretty routine Memorial Day Weekend.
BEACH FORECAST: Not an unusual Memorial Day Weekend forecast. Scattered, random, hit or miss mainly afternoon and evening showers and storms will be prowling around. Not a wash, at all, Gulf water temperature 79.
