WEEKEND UPDATE:  Temperatures will Moderate Significant  Rainfall Event Early Week

Good morning!  Early this morning, well before Dwan, temperatures are already in the mid 29’s.  But, wind is not an issue.  So this morning is nt as brutal as yesterday. Temperatures will start to slowly moderate beginning this afternoon.  Tonight lows will be above freezing for a change. Sunday’s high will rise to the low to mid 60’s.  It’ll be a dry weekend.  Good weather for Christmas parades and tree lightings. We’re expecting a significant two part rainfall event early next week.  Rain could begin in the overnight hours Sunday night.  Periods of rain could produce significant rainfall amounts Monday and Tuesday, ending Wednesday morning.  Then, expect another temperature plunge starting Wednesday.

TODAY:  It’s another sub-freezing morning in the 20’s. Wind chill is not be a factor.   Otherwise, temperatures will be a little more reasonable today.   High 56.  Light wind.  Partly cloudy.  Not as cold tonight.  Low 35.  

NEXT FEW DAYS:  It still looks like we could see a significant rainfall event Sunday night through early Wednesday. The warmest day will be Tuesday in the lower 70’s.  We could also see some thunderstorms.  We are not expecting any severe weather. Expect another temperature plunge starting Wednesday.

Here’s the expected rainfall for the next 7 days.  A significant rainfall event is expected starting Sunday night into maybe early Wednesday.

The 10 Day Model Blend Temperature Trend.  Temperatures begin to moderate over the weekend,  The warmest day will be Tuesday.  Expect another temperature plunge by the middle of next week behind yet another Cold Front.
