Happy Friday! The cold front which brought in the showers overnight, is ushering in another sharp shot of cold air, which will make this day quite brisk. But, on this video, I’ll show you how things will turn around quickly over the weekend, as we get ready for yet another storm system. In fact, we have two important fronts on the menu in the week ahead. I’ll show you potential rainfall totals. Plus, I’ll show a rather shocking new Drought Monitor map. Behind the front which brought rain overnight, it will be s sharply colder day. The winds will make the 51° high seem much colder. We are headed for a freeze tonight.
Hopefully we will see some good rain totals in the next week. We need it!
Sadly the new drought monitor map does not look good. 48% of Alabama is in at least Severe Drought and 86% in Moderate Drought. Best rain chances Sunday & Wednesday. Fingers crossed
