WEEKEND UPDATE:  Two Storm Systems Next 4 Days – Iron Bowl Forecast Update

Shoppers won’t have much to worry about weather-wise today.  Looks like the rain will hold off until tonight and clear out early in the morning.  The Iron Bowl forecast continues to look good, and I think we have a pretty comfortable weekend forecast.  But, hang on.  There’s another cold front approaching.  More showers will drench the air Sunday night before much colder air funnels in to start the new week.

TODAY & TONIGHT:  It will be mostly cloudy, but dry. Breezy today, with a brisk east wind at 6 to 16.   High in the mid 50’s  Showers should hold off until tonight, especially after 8PM and through the overnight hours.  Low tonight 49.  No heavy rain is expected.  Most places will see .50” or less.  The risk of rain will stick around through the early AM hours of Saturday.

IRON BOWL FORECAST:  :  Attention tailgaters:  Slight chance of morning showers in Tuscaloosa.  Otherwise,it should be a cloudy first part of the day.  Then it will give way to Partly sunny.  Highs will reach the mid 60’s by gametime.  A great Iron Bowl Forecast.

NEXT STORM SYSTEM:   Sunday will be dry and warm for November.  But, it should be dry during the day with showers moving in Sunday night, and clearing out by early Monday morning.  Sharply colder air will follow the front.

NEXT FEW DAYS:  Our mild weekend will be followed an approaching cold front, will bring in showers Sunday night, followed by sharply colder temperatures for the early part of the week.

Hope you have a great holiday weekend.  I’ll have blog updates later in the weekend.
