Storm System Approaching – More Rain – Holiday Travel Woes – WEDNESDAY Video

Good morning!  Get ready for some weather changes.  Storm system approaching.  This storm will have a big impact on holiday travel across the eastern half of the nation.  I have the latest on timing, and how much rain we could see.  We’ll look ahead to the Christmas Weekend Forecast.  The big day looks pretty nice!  And, who will snow on Christmas morning.  There may not be a lot of snowcover on the ground across the US, but, you may not have to drive too far to experience a White Christmas.

Dry much of the day.  Maybe a late day shower.  Mild.  Rain becomes likely tonight.

Wet day tomorrow.  Occasional showers.  This storm system will have a significant travel impact for much of the eastern US.

Many national airport hubs could experience some significant delays on Friday.  Travelers be aware.  It’ll have a national ripple affect,

The rain should be out of here before Christmas weekend begins.  Mostly dry weekend.  Small chance of a shower late Sunday or Sunday night.  Monday looks pretty nice.

Looks like a very nice Christmas Day forecast!

You may not to have to travel too far to experience a White Christmas.  The mountain resorts near the Tennessee and North Carolina border could see up to 8 to 10 inches.

What happens after Christmas?  Looks like a mild week with another storm system mid to late week.
