UPDATE: Winter Weather Advisory CANCELLED for Autauga, Bibb, Calhoun, Chambers, Chilton, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Greene, Hale, Marengo, Perry, Randolph, Shelby, Sumter, Talladega, Tallapoosa. Sunshine already in west Alabama. The clearing line has made it to about Huntsville to Birmingham to Marion. Sunshine for many of us by afternoon. Windy & colder. #alwx

Here comes Winter. Arctic air is funneling into the state. We’ll be drastically colder by morning. I have updated the numbers. The brutally cold temperatures may not stick around long, though. Wait till you see the drastic temperature rollercoaster ride in the week ahead. Talk about big changes!
Low to mid 20’s by Wednesday morning. Wind chill in the teens. Back to the mid 20’s Thursday morning.
After the cold colmes a big warming trend starting Friday through the weekend. Scattered showers Sunday.
Drastic temperature change from today to next Tuesday. Dangerous Record Cold over the Midwest and heartland today, to Much above normal by next Tuesday.
The models bring 70’s back at us by next week…Monday through Thursday! How about that for a big change.
