Brief Late Season Chill – Monday Video

Good Morning!  Welcome to April.  What a chilly start!  Parts of our state are under a freeze warning this morning. Even the River Region will start this day in the upper 30’s.  A coastal system will brush by the area tonight with a few showers.  On this video, we’ll walk through the details of the week ahead, including a late week warm-up, and perhaps two storm systems in the next 6 days or so.  We need the rain. And, could this be the last major cool spell? We’ll look 16 days into the future.

Cool Start this morning in the upper 30’s  We’ll recover to the upper 60’s.  A Gulf of Mexico storm system brushes by the area with scattered showers by late tonight.

Chilly Tuesday and Wednesday AM.  Nice warm day Wednesday.  Showers and thunderstorms by Thursday night into Friday.  Weekend showers.  Warmer.

We’ll monitor this Thursday PM storm system, which will bring showers and storms to the state by Thursday night into Friday.

Could this be the last sharp cool-down?   Here’s the GFSA raw temperature guidance out 16 days.  Look at the big warm-up ahead.
