Good Morning! ..Big weather changes in the week ahead… Our quiet, warm/dry pattern will be ending soon. We need some rain, and it appears we will ease into a much wetter ,and somewhat cooler series of days, beginning later this week. On this video, I’ll bring you up to date on the timeline and I’ll show you how much rain we could see. There’s much to discuss on your Monday morning personal weather briefing.
Our warm, dry quiet pattern continues today. High in the mid 90’s again.
That Gulf disturbance, which could become a depression before moving shore on the Mexican coast, could play a big role in our weather later in the week. Moisture from this system will migrate into Alabama by the end of the week, increasing our rain chances in a big way.
Widely scattered storms by Wednesday. Scattered storms Thursday. Showers and storms become likely Friday through Sunday and beyond.
Fingers crossed. We could see some beneficial rainfall totals Friday through the weekend. We sure need it.
The rain in the next 2 weeks may go a long way in putting a dent in the widespread drought across the Southeast US.
