After Dense fog early… The news is very good again today. The warmer temperatures continue. It should be a perfect December day. But, changes are on the way, as a two part weekend storm system brings showers back to the forecast. Part 1 brings scattered showers Saturday. Part 2 brings a round of rain and perhaps some thunderstorms Sunday night into Monday morning, before colder air sweeps in. And, there’s more. We’ll look ahead deep into December.

Part one of the weekend storm system brings showers back to the state Saturday afternoon ahead of a cool front.

Another round of rain comes in Sunday night into part of Monday before colder air floods into the state.
Showers Saturday. And, another round of rain and maybe a few storms Sunday night, ending 1st half of the day Monday, then colder. Freeze perhaps Tuesday morning. Showers possible Wednesday.
Many towns could see 1-2″ of rain over the weekend, if not more.
