Big Improvements – Lower Humidity Soon – Cooler Nights – THURSDAY Video

Good morning!  The front that brought yesterday’s storms is moving toward the coast.  Improvements are coming.  Humidify levels will become lower.  Nights will be cooler.  I dare say, there will be a touch of Fall in the air.   On Friday, humidity will be amazing lower.  The weekend will be hot, but “Tolerable/Reasonable” humidity, especially Saturday.  The Tropics are very active, as we approach the season peak, but Mindy is NOT a concern to us.

The front moving through the state makes it into south Alabama later today and reaches the northern Gulf by tomorrow morning. Drier air is flowing into the state. The humidity will gradually drop later. Tonight will be pleasant.

By Friday our Dewpoint Level will drop from the Oppressive Range to COMFORTABLE. Temperature doesn’t matter much in the summer. ONLY dewpoint matters. It means EVERYTHING.

Look for some fairly tolerable days and cooler nights. Sunday will be a little more humid. Risk of thunderstorm Monday. Scattered storms Tuesday.

Here’s the weekend Beach Outlook…

Do we care about Mindy or Larry? Not at all. But, as we approach the peak of the season, there are two new Area’s To Watch. One in the west Caribbean. Another off the African coast.
