A weak front will move southward through the state today, reaching near the coast by sunset.
Future Radar favors south Alabama for the better rain chance today, particularly along and south of I-85.
NEXT FEW DAYS: The up and down rain chance will go UP again by late week. Thursday should be routine. But, showers and storms will be scattered to numerous again by Friday & Saturday. High temperatures will come down a bit to the low or mid 80’s, late week. The rain chance will trend downward again by Monday.
The best rain chance will be Friday & Saturday. We will be on the wet side of a Upper Low.
The Southeastern U.S. will be a very wet region over the next 5 days.
But, Hang on! There is GREAT news about an approaching front early next week! It will sweep through the state Monday. Much nicer air will be in place by next Tuesday! Exciting.
Oh my gosh! Potentially MUCH NICER air by next Tuesday & Wednesday. Much lower dewpoints. Comfortable air.
TROPICAL OUTLOOK: Danielle is still a Hurricane in the North Atlantic.
Earl is also a hurricane. It is also curving into the Atlantic. It could affect Bermuda as a major hurricane.
Plus, Invest 95-L now has a 60% chance of development into a Depression or Storm in the next few days. An there is a new Area to Watch coming off the African coast.
The Euro Tropical Probability over the next 10 days shows the Atlantic on fire. But, all the action should be out at sea. No threat to North America at the moment.
