SUNDAY Update: Hot Week Ahead – Still Dry

Good Morning!  Here’s my brief video forecast discussion.     

TODAY:   Sunshine.  A little higher on the humidity.  High near 90.  Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Clear tonight. Low 69.

NEXT FEW DAYS:    Sunny, warm dry days will continue.  The humidity is creeping up a bit. We should be dry through the week ahead. We’ll be in the low 90’s Monday.  Mid 90’s will return Tuesday through Friday.  Overnight lows in the 60’s.  Dry, storm-free for several days.

The EURO models still points to essentially dry forecast for about trough at least next Saturday.  

TROPICAL OUTLOOK:   

10AM UPDATE:

Fiona has now become a Hurricane with 80 mph winds, located 50 miles south of Ponce, Puerto Rico moving WNW at 8.

 Tropical Storm Fiona, is south of Puerto Rico with winds of 65 mph, moving WNW at 8 mph.  

Elsewhere, NHC is tracking an Areas to Watch, with a low 20% probability of development in the next 5 days.
