PLEASE NOTE: My updates through Sunday are coming from the road. I’m in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Please understand, my updates from the road are going to be VERY abbreviated. Basically, just the forecast, without too many graphics. Thanks for your understanding! 😊
Good Morning from Montego Bay! A weak disturbance brushing by the area will bring a small chance if isolated showers today. A very CHILLY day, followed by COLD tonight as we head below Freezing. Expect a round of rain Monday night and again Thursday. A Strong Cold Front moves through Thursday night. Winter officially arrives Wednesday, but you can expect an Artic Blast Temperature Plunge starting Friday, through Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Cold weather fans your day is coming. Get ready.
TODAY: Very CHILLY Day. Cloudy at times. Isolated showers are possible. Widely scattered and light. (20% chance) High only 52. Breezy. West wind 10 to 15. Clearing and cold tonight. Low, by Dawn Sunday, in the upper 20’s.
Future Radar snapshot late this morning.
NEXT FEW DAYS: Very Chilly Sunday. High barely up to 50. Upper 20’s Sunday night. Another round of rain Monday night. Much of Tuesday and Wednesday will be dry. An important strong cold front will bring the risk of showers back to the forecast Thursday and Thursday night. Then, it turns windy and Sharply Much Colder by Friday.
Attention Cold Weather Fans…get ready for a Late Christmas Week Temperature Arctic Blast. That’s some very chilly stuff! This is what’s called the Model Blend. It averages all the numbers from all the models. These numbers speak for themselves. I mentioned yesterday, and I’ll mention again, the raw model numbers from the GFS and especially the Euro are even COLDER then the model blend. In fact, the numbers are extreme and I refuse to show them. Because, I don’t think the cold will be QUITE that extreme. We’ll see.
PRELIMINARY CHRISTMAS OUTLOOK?: I’ll give you my EARLY Christmas Forecast. COLD. Very COLD. (Normal 62/39) AM Low 20 to 22. Daytime high 43….sunshine. Nighttime low 25 to 27. (Last Year: High 77, Low 39. No Rain)
CHRISTMAS PAST: I covered 45 Christmas Days for you. Some wilder than others…
Thanks for reading this Blog this morning! I’ll have another update for you in the morning from Jamaica. Have a nice day!
