SATURDAY UPDATE:  Beautiful Mother’s Day Weekend – Warmer Next Week

Good Morning!   The news is very good.  Timing is everything.  We have a great Mother’s Day Weekend forecast and the nice storm-free pattern continues well through next week.  Next week will be much warmer.

STORMY FRIDAY:   It was a very Friday across multiple states, with 332 storm reports, including 5 tornadoes.  For once, Alabama was largely skipped.

TODAY:   Nice day.  Lower humidity.  Comfortable.  Sunshine.  High near 80.  Breezy.  Northwest wind 10 to 20 mph.  Clear skies, much cooler tonight.  Low 53.

SUNDAY:  Great Mother’s Day weather.  Sunshine.  Comfortable.  High in the middle 80’s.  Clear, cool Sunday night.   Low in the upper 50’s.

NEXT FEW DAYS:   Nice pattern.  Storm free for several days.  Warmer.  Near 90 by Wednesday.  Rain holds off until sometime next weekend.

Look at the big warm-up next week.

Time to get out the garden hose. Here’s rainfall through next Friday. Dry as a bone…

TROPICAL MISCHIEF?:    It’s early, but many models are advertising some early Tropical development off the U.S. east coast late in the week.  Hurricane season begins June 1st.

BEACH FORECAST:  Red flags.  High rip current risk today.  Moderate risk on Sunday.  Otherwise nice.  Lots of sunshine.  Highs mostly in the lower 80’s.

.

I’ll have another Blog update in the morning.  Enjoy this beautiful weekend weather.
