Good Morning! We continue to deal with summer-like warmth. Yesterday’s high of 87 was a new record. It will be a HOT Election day today as we head for the mid 80’s. (The Record is 87) But, stand by. Wednesday will be a much cooler day. Here’s my brief forecast discussion.
TODAY: Mostly sunny. HOT & humid. High 85. (Record high 87 from 1986) (Normal high 73) Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Clear and turning cooler tonight. Low 52. Sunrise this morning is 6:10 AM. Sunset is 4:50 PM.
It will be a Hot & Humid Election day for the southeast and eastern US.
NEXT FEW DAYS:
Much cooler on Wednesday High 72. Comfortable Thursday, high in the mi 70’s Friday will be a little warmer. Comfortable, high in the upper 70’s. This weekend, we’ll see the coolest air of the season so far. Much cooler Saturday. Breezy with highs in the 60’s. Sunday and Monday we’ll only be in the mid 50’s. Expect a freeze Sunday and Monday AM.

Some of Nicole’s rainfall could spill into extreme east Alabama, but the news for most of us is still rather bleak.
TROPICAL WEATHER: Sub-tropical storm Nicole, with 45 mph winds, is in the Bahamas is aiming for Florida.
Hurricane Warning for portions of the Bahamas. Hurricane Watch in effect on the Florida coast. Nicole is expected to come ashore on the Florida east coast late Wednesday night as a category 1 hurricane. Nicole will take a right hand curve and move up along the SE US coastline.
FULL LUNAR ECLIPSE THIS MORNING: The Full “Blood” total lunar eclipse is underway as I type this. It will be the last Full Lunar eclipse until March 2025. The totality will last for almost and hour and a half. The Partial eclipse started at 3:09 AM. Full eclipse begins at 4:16 AM. The totality ends at 5:41 AM. Moonset at 6:15.
