THURSDAY Update:  Spring-like Thanksgiving – 2-Part Storm System Approaching

Happy Thanksgiving!  Expect a very spring-like Thanksgiving.   I expect lower 70’s again today.  Dry & comfortable.  However, stand-by. We have a complex two-part storm system on the way.  Round overnight tonight.  Round two arrives Saturday night.  Here’s my brief forecast discussion.

TODAY:  Expect a very spring-like Thanksgiving.  We had 74 yesterday, I expect lower 70’s again today.  Dry & comfortable.  There may be more clouds than sun, but all in all, this will be a very nice holiday.  East winds at 5 to 10 mph.  Much of the evening hours will be dry.  Showers and storms from Round 1 of this two part holiday storm system moves in late tonight.

ROUND ONE:   Part one of this two part storm system moves in late tonight, through the overnight hours until Friday morning.  Here’s a couple of Future Radar Snapshots in the overnight hours tonight.

The shower risk will be mostly Friday AM. Much of the day Friday is likely to be dry & comfortable with a high in the upper 60’s to near 70.

Round TWO: The second round of this two part storm system comes in late Saturday night, through the overnight hours until Sunday morning.

Right now, we’re not expecting severe weather, expect in coastal Alabama.  This could change if the warm front is able to move farther north

NEXT FEW DAYS:    Dry weather returns for Sunday, Monday & Tuesday.  Most highs will be in the 60’s.  Perhaps near 70 by Tuesday

Rainfall amounts through Saturday could be significant.

Thanks for reading this Blog this morning! I’ll have another update for you in the morning.  Have a nice Thanksgiving!
