Widely Scattered Showers Today – Intense Heat Builds This Week – TUESDAY Video

Good Morning!  A weak front, in our state today, will bring the best chance of seeing any showers for the next several days.  Still, though, the chances will be small.  The bigger story is about Record Heat in the days ahead.  We’ll be close to record high territory for 5 or 6 days, at least, from late week through the weekend.  Everybody wants to know, when will significant rain chances return to our state?  Will it take some help from the tropics?  We’ll take a look ahead through early October for signs of raindrops, on your Tuesday morning personal weather briefing.

HOT day, but that weak front which moves into central Alabama this afternoon could touch off a few isolated showers.

That weak southward  moving front will bring a few random widely scattered storms to a few very lucky towns this afternoon.

Rain chances are not ZERO, but rather bleak Wednesday through Sunday.  Intense heat each day.

Many record highs will be in jeopardy in Montgomery for several days.  An incredible string of records could fall.

If we don’t get rain at the airport today, this record appears more and more likely.
