(**Thursday AM I get on a plane to New York City. I’m afraid my Blog Updates will be very, very brief for a few days through Sunday as I enjoy a packed itinerary on my vacation. Some of those mornings, just the forecast. Thanks for your understanding. You’ll still hear by updates on the radio, everyday 😊)
Good Morning! Our series of beautiful, storm-free days continue. Today, we are headed for the upper 70’s again. We’ll be closer to 80 on a nearly perfect Thursday. By the weekend we’ll be in the upper 80’s. I can’t rule out a couple of isolated showers towards Friday evening. There will be spotty showers, at times Saturday through Monday, but certainly not a washout. Also, on this Blog Update, you’ll get a quick peek at what looks like a very warm week, next week. We could be wet at times, too. Here’s my brief forecast discussion.
CLIMATE DATA: Yesterday we had morning low of 46, and an afternoon high of 79. (Normal 83/57) Peak wind gust 34 mph. No Rain.
TODAY: Sunshine, warmer. High 78. Northwest wind 6 to 12 mph. Clear, chilly tonight. Low 48.
A big upper low Upper Level Low is shifting eastward into the Atlantic. A Upper Ridge of High Pressure in the middle of the country. That spells a warming trend for us. The ridge will be over us this weekend. Upper 80’s.

NEXT FEW DAYS: Our storm-free pattern continues for now. Thursday will be nearly perfect with a high near 80. Scattered showers Saturday, Sunday & Monday, but not a wash out by any means. Highs in the upper 80’s over the weekend.

DEADLY MONTGOMERY TORNADO: May 3, 1984. Five people lost their lives in a F-3 tornado around Dawn on this date 39 years ago. The fatalities happened near the Northern By-pass. It was the first of three tornado episodes that day…another at about 2PM and one more outbreak around 6PM. This young guy will never forget covering this terrible day nearly 4 decades ago. It was relentless.
