SUNDAY “DRENCHER” – Wind Advisory – COLD

It’s a pretty awful Sunday. Wet, Windy, Dreary and Cold. Many cities and towns could easily see 1 to 3”. No Severe weather is expected. A WIND Advisory is in effect for wind gusts as high as 35 mph. There could be a few leftover showers early Monday AM. Then, expect improvement. Most of next week will be storm-free and dry. I’ll have a complete Blog update and video in the morning. Stay warm on this brisk Sunday.

It’s not just the rain and cold today. A Wind Advisory is in effect until 6PM. Wind gusts as high as 35 mph.

IMPACTS…Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.

Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may

result.

For nearly 3 weeks now, we’ve been hinting at a potential significant future Arctic Blast, sometime between Feb. 15 and March 15. Potentially, long duration. The extreme record cold in Alaska has to go somewhere soon. Seeing more and more model clues.
